Ever put your hands in the open rice bin at the market? I have. The way it felt was so great I just couldn't walk by without feeling it between my fingers. My mother wasn't very pleased to find me playing in the food. But, she understood. I love my mom. Now a days I try to walk by the rice and only look and remember. Sometimes I can't resist and dip a finger or two in to draw a happy face.
Besides I have moved on to textured bumpy yarns. They still give me that nice touch and enjoy feeling with the luxury of being able to wear them. It is one of the biggest reasons I now hand dye and sell them in my shop.
