Pinterest

My new creative outlet is Pinterest. I'm always looking for new ways to share what is running around inside my head. Most of my ideas are visual and I try to put them in words the best way I can. Sometimes I fail. Most of the time words just don't paint the image or feeling I want to convey. Now you can read my mind visually and see what is floating between my ears at Pinterest.  pinterest.com/eweandmeyarns/

For those of you who have never been to this site. It is a place where images come to take up residence. That is to say.... anyone can upload an image and link from the web to be shared with the Pinterest community. Those images can be repinned to make boards. Trust me it is a lot simpler than it sounds. Just go look. You will love it. I love it. This is the link to all my boards.  pinterest.com/eweandmeyarns/

I have built an inspiration board of photos for each of my yarns. Some of the yarns exist only in the inspiration form. I plan to practice and test out these new colorway ideas before they are put into the store. Others of them have been created into juicy colorful yarns in many textures and weights.

With Pinterest I can now show you the inspiration behind my hand dyed yarns. I have set up a pin up board for each one of the yarn colorways. Each board has several pictures that were specially chosen to illustrate the feeling and meaning for each colorway.

Are the boards done? Yes and no. The boards that have resulted in colorways have served their purpose. I have collected enough images to complete the idea behind the yarn. I will be adding to the boards as I stumble across more images that support that board. As with most things... growth is good. Everyday we should always try to grow in what ever way we can.

As the blog grows I will be putting in single board links to go with the pictured/ featured yarns.

So here is my favorite part. Show and tell. Below is a photo of the colorway Me Too available at my etsy shop. eweandmeyarns.etsy.com  See the inspiration at   pinterest.com/eweandmeyarns/me-too/
