About Me

Truth is I'm not very comfortable about talking or writing about myself. So I thought I could do this two ways. For those of you who only care about the facts. Bullet points will cover the big picture. And for those of you who like the journey..... I will from time to time write about the bullet points while trying not to bore you or me for that matter. Here is a third option. You can email me if you really want to. The email question and answer will then be posted here on my blog at a later date. eweandmeyarns@gmail.com Of course you can always just post a note to this blog directly.

The energy behind eweandmeyarns.etsy.com comes from one woman at this time. That is me. I say this not to suggest that I am alone in this matter. I'm not. My point is that I have a strong family base that allows and helps me be me. They put up with my creative side and know that my shop and customers are as important to me as they are.

As for the shop and the beautiful yarns and fiber items all are created and made by me. Often I can be found with hands dyed with the latest colorway. A source of embarrassment for my kid as well as a badge of honor. Because as the shop does well my hands reflect the success through a display of rainbow colors. I know.... Wear gloves. Sometimes I do. And I try to remember. Honestly, I don't like feel or the awkwardness of gloves.

Ewe and Me Yarns was started almost two decades ago. Since it's beginning it has grown from making things from wool yarn such as hand knit blankets and felted hats to what it is now. A thriving hand painted yarn shop.

I have been a creative person from the very beginning. So It only made sense that I go to college and get and Art Degree.
